    What time is check-in?

    Check-in is 3.00pm. In the case of earlier arrival, we try our best to accommodate our guests where possible. We will also be able to store your luggage until your room is ready.

    What time is check-out?

    Check-out is 11.00am. In the case of late departure, we try our best to accommodate our guests where possible.

    Do the rooms have air conditioning?

    Yes, all bedrooms have air conditioning.

    Does the hotel have a gym?

    The hotel has a fitness suite which can be used free of charge for hotel guests.

    Does the hotel have WiFi?

    Yes, Maldron Hotel Glasgow is pleased to offer complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel.

    Is there somewhere to store my luggage?

    Yes, there is a luggage store at reception.

    Do you allow pets?

    No, pets are not allowed in the hotel besides assistance dogs.

    Is there a laundry service available?

    Yes, there is laundry service available at Maldron Hotel Glasgow however cleaning services can take more than a day. 

    What do I do if I accidentally leave some items in the hotel?

    Is the hotel reception desk open 24 hours a day?

    Yes, our reception desk is open 24 hours a day to assist hotel residents.

    What is the hotel’s smoking policy?

    Maldron Hotel Glasgow operates a strictly non-smoking policy inside. This includes e-cigarettes. Failure to adhere to this policy will result in an additional deep cleaning charge. There are designated smoking areas outside for our guests.

    Is the hotel accessible?

    Yes, the hotel has been built with accessibility in mind, with an accessible hotel entrance & elevators.

    Do you sell gift vouchers?

    Yes, we sell gift vouchers at our reception desk and online which can be used across various Maldron Hotels, Clayton Hotels and sister properties for overnight accommodation, dining and leisure facilities. 

    Do you provide printing facilities for boarding passes?

    Yes, our reception team can help you print your boarding pass.

    Does the hotel offer currency exchange?

    No, we don’t offer currency exchange at the hotel, but we will be happy to direct you to the nearest location.

    Do you supply travel adapters?

    No, we don’t supply travel adapters, but we do have USB sockets in every bedroom. Our reception team will be happy to direct you to the nearest store which does sell travel adapters if needed.

    What room types does the hotel offer? 

    79 Doubles, 20 Twin, 170 Double and Single, 21 Executive Double, 10 Double Double, 15 fully accessible rooms and Interconnecting rooms are available

    Are there wheelchair accessible rooms available?

    We have 15 rooms in total at Maldron Hotel Glasgow.  All rooms come with wet room, emergency call button and hand rails

    Are the hotel rooms air-conditioned?

    Yes, each room has an air conditioner

    Do the bathrooms have a shower or bath?

     Double Double rooms have bath and shower all of the other room types have shower

    Does the room include tea and coffee making facilities?

     Yes, each room has tea and coffee making facilities

    Does the hotel offer wake-up calls?

     Yes, we do offer wake-up calls.

    Is there a bar and restaurant on-site?

    Yes, our Grain & Grill bar and restaurant offers delicious dining for lunch and dinner.

    Does the hotel offer breakfast?

    Yes, we serve a great selection of breakfast options each morning. You can pay for breakfast on the day for £16 per person.

    Breakfast is served 7 days a week from 6:30am to 10am Monday to Friday and from 7.30am to 11am at weekends and bank holidays.

    What are the opening times of the Grain & Grill?

    Grain & Grill Bar and Restaurant is open from 5pm to 10pm, 7 days a week.

    Does the restaurant cater food for allergies?

    Yes, all of our menus contain a full allergy listing. Please inform your waiter if you have any allergies or dietary requirements and our kitchen team will be delighted to assist.

    Does Gain & Grill offer a dedicated kid’s menu?

    Yes, we offer a dedicated kids menu for your little ones.

    Do you provide room service?

    Yes, in-room dining is available to hotel residents. Scan the QR code in your room to view the menu and order directly through our Guest Service Platform or call reception to order.

    Is there a reservation for dinner required?

    Dinner reservation is recommended but not essential. If tables are available, we will be delighted to have you. 

    Do you cater for large groups? Can I book a private dining space for a special occasion?

    Yes, we can cater for large groups in the hotel and can offer private dining space for special occasions. Contact our Meeting and Events team to make an enquiry by emailing events.glasgow@maldronhotels.com.

    Where is the hotel located?

    The hotel entrance is on Renfrew street in the centre of Glasgow, a 10-minute walk from Central and Queen Street stations.

    How do I get to the hotel from the Airport?

    Glasgow International Airport is a 15-minute taxi ride to the hotel or alternatively, you can get the 500 airport express bus from outside the arrivals door at the airport which goes to Buchanan Street Bus Station and then it is a 3-minute walk to the hotel.

    How far is the hotel from Glasgow city centre? 

    The hotel is situated in Glasgow City Centre

    Are there any shopping areas nearby?

    Yes, Buchanan Galleries is less than 5 mins walk from the hotel as is Buchanan Street 

    What is the closest train station? 

    Glasgow Queen Street Station is 0.6 miles from the Hotel and Buchanan Street Bus Station is 0.4 miles

    What is there to see and do around the hotel?

    Maldron Hotel Glasgow is ideally placed in the Theatre and Shopping district of Glasgow City Centre, with The Royal Concert Hall, Theatre Royal and the Shopping ‘Style Mile’ all on the doorstep.  The hotel is centrally located to popular transport links taking you to the West End where you can discover various independent restaurants, bars and shops in less than 10 mins or if you plan to go further afield to you can be at Ben Lomond and The Trossachs in as little as 40 mins

    Is there a car rental station near the hotel?

    Enterprise Car and Van Rental is 0.8 miles from the hotel

    Is parking available at the hotel?

    Cambridge Street Car-Park is 0.2 miles and approximately a short 4 minute walk from the hotel. The address is Cambridge Street Car Park, Glasgow, G3 6RU.

    You will get a ticket on arrival at the car park. Please have this validated by our Reception team and then you will receive the discounted rate of £12 per 24 hours which you can then pay at the car park when you leave.

    Are there meeting and event room facilities available at the hotel? 

    Yes, there are 5 meeting and event rooms at Maldron Hotel Glasgow City. All of our meeting rooms are situated on the first floor of the hotel and are fully accessible by elevator or stairs. Each of our flexible meeting and event rooms is suitable for many purposes including corporate training days, board meetings, interviews, and hybrid meetings.

    Does the hotel facilitate conferences?

    How many people do your meeting rooms accommodate?

    Our largest meeting room can accommodate up to 70 people. Within our meeting rooms, we offer several different layouts and configurations, so please discuss this with our Meetings and Events team who will happily guide you through our options.

    What equipment is included in the meeting rooms?

    Our meeting rooms have been designed with modern meetings in mind, and boast state-of-the-art technology to help make your meeting as simple as possible. All of our meeting rooms benefit from high-speed Wi-Fi and are equipped with Clevertouch® interactive displays as standard. This is in addition to a projector and built-in camera to ensure those who cannot physically be in the room can still effectively take part.

    The rooms themselves all benefit from natural daylight with floor-to-ceiling windows and no pillars or obstructions. For additional equipment you may require for your meeting, please discuss this with our team and we will happily accommodate what is possible.

    Are there food and beverage options available?

    Yes, we provide standard Day Delegate Packages which includes a set food and beverage provision, but you can also build your own package depending on your own requirements. We are also flexible in catering to dietary requirements including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. Please speak with our Meetings and Events team to create a package most suitable to your needs.

    Do you have corporate rates available?

    Yes, we regularly hold residential meetings and conferences and are happy to provide corporate rates for accommodation. Please speak with our Meetings and Events team for more information.

  • Booking & Cancellation

    What age are children for the purpose of hotel packages?

    Children are designated as between 2 and 12 years of age. Children over 12 will be charged as an adult.

    Can I cancel or amend my booking?

    Maldron Hotel Glasgow offers free cancellation up to 2.00 pm 48 hours prior to arrival for almost all reservations made on maldronhotels.com or maldronhotelglasgowcity.com. Some special offers and key dates may specify a special cancellation policy, these will be clearly outlined in the terms & conditions.

    Reservations booked via on third party websites and online travel agents have their own cancellation policies, please refer to your confirmation email.

    What is Click on Maldron and how do I sign up?

    Click on Maldron is our loyalty programme and you can sign up online via our website.

    What is the best way to make a reservation? 

    The best way to make a reservation is directly with the hotel via our website. This will show our best available rate and any exclusive offers!

    What should I do if I haven’t received a booking confirmation?

    If you haven’t received a booking confirmation, we recommend checking your spam folder and if you still do not have the confirmation please contact us directly at the hotel.

    What payment methods does the hotel accept? 

    Cash, all major credit cards and contactless payments 

    What is the hotel’s credit/debit card policy? 

    A credit or debit card is required at the time of booking

    How do I make a group or multiple room booking?

    Are there any age restrictions when booking a hotel room?

    Those 18 years and over can book a room at Maldron Hotel Glasgow.

    Can I show up at the hotel without a booking?

    Unfortunately, we do not currently accept walk in reservations.

    Can I extend my stay?

    Yes, you are welcome to extend your stay subject to availability. Please enquire directly with the hotel for availability.

    What is the cancellation policy? 

    You are able to cancel your reservation until 2pm the day prior to arrival, with the exception of our ‘Pre-Pay & Save’ offer – which does not offer the option to cancel.

    What does the “no-show” policy entail?

    In the event of a “no-show” the guests is charged for the first nights stay.

    How can I cancel my reservation if I booked via a third-party website?

    If you have booked via a third-party, you must cancel your booking directly with the website through which the reservation was made.
